The 12th Zambia International Mining & Energy Conference (ZIMEC 2025) was ceremoniously convened at the luxurious Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe from March 19th to 20th, 2025. Under the profound theme of “Promoting Equitable Investment Partnerships, Intra-Regional Mineral Value Chains & Renewable Energy to Catalyze Zambia’s Sustainable Economic Growth”, this conference became a focal point that captivated the global mining and energy sectors. It was inaugurated by the Honourable Paul Kabuswe, the esteemed Minister of Mines & Mineral Development, setting a high – profile start for the two – day event.
Our company took an active and prominent role in the exhibition, strategically positioning ourselves at a prime location to attract maximum attention. We showcased a comprehensive range of our state – of – the – art and well – proven equipment, each piece a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation. The robust UK – 20 underground mining truck, with its powerful engine and advanced suspension system, was on full display, demonstrating its ability to navigate the harshest underground terrains with ease. The efficient WJ – 4 underground scraper, designed for high – volume material handling, boasted of its precision controls and durable build. Complementing these was the reliable service truck, equipped with all the necessary tools and spare parts to ensure seamless maintenance operations in the field.
During the bustling conference, high – ranking officials from Zambia, such as the Minister of Mining and the Minister of Energy, graced our booth. Their presence added a significant level of prestige to our exhibition. They engaged in detailed and in – depth discussions, meticulously examining each piece of equipment and inquiring about its technical specifications, operational efficiency, and cost – effectiveness. Showering high praise on our innovative products, they noted how our offerings could potentially revolutionize the mining and energy sectors in Zambia. The conversations extended to exploring the promising prospects of future cooperation, with both ministers expressing a strong desire to enhance the technological capabilities of local industries. Their strong interest in our equipment was palpable, as they explicitly expressed latent intentions for more in – depth and long – term collaborations, hinting at potential large – scale procurement plans and joint R & D initiatives to adapt our technology to Zambia’s unique operational needs.
